A vehicular multimedia device capable of managing audio output and an audio output managing method are disclosed. According to the present invention, a vehicular multimedia device is capable of continuously receiving and playing audio stream through a data cable without setting a Bluetooth audio profile when being in Bluetooth pairing with a mobile device while the audio stream transmitted from the mobile device (iPhone) through the data cable (iPod cable) is played.
