DETACHABLE MATTRESS BASE WITH MATTRESS SUPPORTING AND AERATION PROPERTIES

Novelty: a detachable mattress base allowing the adequate support and aeration of the mattress is disclosed. Constitution: an rectangular metal framework comprising the wooden mattress-supporting surface 2 covering at least 90% of the surface which encloses the metal framework 1 and has openings (30 mm at least) ensuring the optimal support of the mattress, especially of orthopaedic mattresses possessing densely- positioned small-diameter springs. The wooden surface is covered with soft materials such as cork and fabric protecting the mattress fabric from frictions. Said mattress base is independent from the rest of the bed, thoroughly portable and fixable either inside the bed recesses or even on its own feet. Apart from appropriate support, the foregoing apertures guaranty the adequate aeration of mattresses.
