An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to equalize a parasitic capacitance between pixel electrodes and a data line on the right of the pixel electrodes and a parasitic capacitance between the pixel electrodes and a data line on the left of the pixel electrodes by disposing dummy patterns at positions symmetrical for driving thin film transistors, thereby improving the display quality. Gate lines(G1-Gn) and data lines(D1-Dm) cross each other to define pixel regions. Driving thin film transistors(110) are formed such that the driving thin film transistors are electrically connected to the gate lines and the data lines. The driving thin film transistors are linearly disposed at first sides of the pixel regions along each of the data lines. Pixel electrodes(112) are electrically connected to the driving thin film transistors. Each of the pixel electrodes has a bilaterally symmetric shape. Dummy patterns(114) are linearly disposed at second sides of the pixel regions along each of the data lines such that the dummy patterns and the driving thin film transistors are symmetrically positioned. |
