The present invention relates to a laser welding method for high strength steel. The present invention as one embodiment provides a step for contacting steel materials after preparing at least two steel materials; a step for tact-welding a start part from which welding starts to an end part at which the welding is completed; a step for welding the steel material by irradiating the tact-welded steel material with laser beams. The present invention provides the laser welding method capable of welding high strength steel, and, in particular, nonmagnetic high strength steel to form an excellent weld zone.
