The isothermal bag comprises an envelope formed by a thermally insulating sheet assembly. The envelope comprises a rectangular base (2) prolonged by two triangular portions that form bellows attached to two opposite edges of the base and prolonged by two side panels (5b, 6b) that form side walls of the envelope, and is formed from superimposed sheets forming the assembly. The side panels comprise a rectangular portion (5) attached to an edge of the base and prolonged by two trapezoidal portions attached with an edge of the triangular portions by four oblique welders (7). The isothermal bag comprises an envelope formed by a thermally insulating sheet assembly. The envelope comprises a rectangular base (2) prolonged by two triangular portions that form bellows attached to two opposite edges of the base and prolonged by two side panels (5b, 6b) that form side walls of the envelope, and is formed from superimposed sheets forming the assembly. Four stabilization straps (8c, 8d) are attached to the oblique welders of the envelope, and are equipped with a support edge arranged to come in a plan of the base when the bag is present in an open position. The superimposed sheets include a weldable internal sheet, an intermediate insulation sheet and an external sheet. The external sheet comprises a non-weldable material. The internal and external sheets have same dimensions. The intermediate insulation sheet is interposed between the external sheet and the internal sheet, and is covered by the external and internal sheets. The side panels further comprise gripping or closing elements, and are welded to each other by their internal sheet according to a right welding. The thermally insulating sheet assembly is present in the form of rectangle. The stabilization straps are formed by a portion of the sheet assembly. Each strap is welded by one of the four oblique welders and by an additional welder. The stabilization straps are present in the form of triangle. An independent claim is included for a process for fabricating an isothermal bag.
