PURPOSE: An insecticide containing entomopathogenic fungi, Isaria javanica Pf04, for controlling Bemisia tabaci Q-type is provided to effectively prevent drug-resistant pest and viral diseases, and to enhance economic value of crops which are cultivated in a greenhouse. CONSTITUTION: A new entomopathogenic fungi, Isaria javanica Pf04(KACC 93122P), prevents Bemisia tabaci Q-type and is denoted by sequence number 1. The strain is isolated from white fly pest. An insecticide for controlling Bemisia tabaci contains Isaria javanica Pf04(KACC 93122P). The insecticide contains the fungi and/or a culture medium thereof. |
