PURPOSE: A method for regulating metabolic homeostasis, stress resistance, or lifespan by endo-siRNA is provided to regulate the expression of a dicer gene which is related to endo-siRNA generation. CONSTITUTION: A method for regulating metabolic homeostasis, stress resistance, or lifespan by endo-siRNA comprises a step of regulating the expression of a dicer gene related to endo-siRNA generation. The dicer gene is Drosophila dicer-2 gene. A used animal is Drosophila.
