<p>The present invention relates to a lighting device and a control method of the lighting device. The present invention comprises a sound unit; a lighting unit including a plurality of lighting components; a control unit controlling the sound unit and the lighting unit; a communication module receiving sound data or lighting control data by the control unit; a switch unit positioned between the communication module and the sound unit; and one or more terminals transmitting the sound data or the lighting control data to the communication module. When the sound data is transmitted from a terminal to the communication module, the control unit turns on the switch unit for controlling the sound unit. When the sound data of the terminal is not received to the communication module, the control unit prevents the unnecessary power consumption of the sound unit by turning off the switch unit.
