A secondary battery is provided to prevent the separation or cutting of an electrode tap by the elastic force of an electrode tap in case of the application of an external impact or vibration. A secondary battery comprises a can; a cap assembly which seals the aperture of the can; and a jelly roll type electrode assembly(20) which comprises two different electrodes(23) having an electrode tap(25) and a separator(21) and is accommodated in the can, wherein at least one electrode tap of the electrode assembly shows an elasticity between the electrode assembly and the cap assembly. Preferably the electrode tap showing elasticity has a zigzag shape, and/or at least three bent parts(29). |
