<p>A mobile communications system (1) is described in which a mobile device (3) is operable to communicate with a base station (5) using a first radio technology and with other devices using a second radio technology. In case of an interference is detected due to concurrent use of the first and second radio technologies, the mobile device (3) provides assistance information to the base station (5), based on which the base station (5) generates control data. The base station (5) sends the generated control data to the mobile device (3), which uses it to alleviate the effects of the detected interference.</p> |
