PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination having a wide light-distribution angle, and to provide a lighting device.SOLUTION: A light source 1 for illumination wherein an envelope is formed of a globe 30, a case 60, and a base cap 70, includes a light-emitting module 10 arranged in the envelope, and an optical member 80 arranged in the envelope and changing an advancing direction of light emitted from the light-emitting module 10. The globe 30 has an expanded part 31 expanded further toward outside than the case 60. A luminous intensity within an angle range of -170° or more to +170° or less around a center axis of the light source 1 for illumination is one-half or more of a central luminous intensity at the center axis of the light source 1 for illumination, and an outer surface of the optical member 80 serves as a reflecting surface. |
