PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag reading device capable of further enhancing a reading rate of a tag.SOLUTION: A tag reading device 2 has an antenna 4, and a phase shifter 5. The antenna 4 is configured to emit a radio wave for reading a wireless tag 6. The phase shifter 5 changes the phase of the radio wave emitted from the antenna 4 with the lapse of time.
