PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in the calculation accuracy of a carrier wave to noise ratio for each reception branch unit in the receiver of a diversity method.SOLUTION: A receiver 1 includes a plurality of reception branch units 10, 20 having calculation units 100, 200 for calculating the carrier wave to noise ratio on the basis of first power per unit frequency of a communication bandwidth in a frequency domain signal and second power per unit frequency of a guard bandwidth disposed on both ends of the communication bandwidth. Each reception branch unit includes: a first determination unit for determining whether the power of a subcarrier wave in the communication bandwidth is equal to or less than an upper direction threshold; and a first measurement unit for measuring the first power, on the basis of subcarrier wave power in the communication bandwidth having power equal to or less than the upper direction threshold.
