DRAIN PIPE CLEANING METHOD FOR HIGH-RISE BUILDING, AND GUIDE PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth movement of a hose even when a bent part exists in a path for cleaning a drain pipe.SOLUTION: A drain pipe 104 with a bent part in a high-rise building is cleaned by inserting a hose 14 from a vent hole 110 and jetting high-pressure cleaning water from a cleaning head 16 while moving the hose upward and downward in the drain pipe 104 by a drain pipe cleaning device 10. A guide pipe 22 for moving the hose 14 in a low-friction state is held by being inserted into a path leading to upper and lower straight parts via the bent part from the vent pipe 110 of the drain pipe 104. The hose 14 is inserted from a back end of the guide pipe 22, pulled down to a lowermost part of the drain pipe 104, and pulled up along with the injection of the high-pressure cleaning water from the cleaning head 16 to clean the drain pipe 104.
