PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aniline from p-aminobenzoic acid and/or o-aminobenzoic acid by a simple method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing aniline including reacting an aminobenzoic acid component of p-aminobenzoic acid and/or o-aminobenzoic acid under a pressure of not less than normal pressure and less than 1.0 MPa (gauge pressure) without adding a catalyst in no solvent or in the presence of water and/or alcoholic solvent regulated so that the weight ratio of the solvent/the aminobenzoic acid component may be >0 and ≤150.
