PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to properly perform charge control to a battery even if a normal detection signal is not outputted from a temperature sensor in a battery pack, in an electrical apparatus operated by receiving a power source from the battery pack including the battery.SOLUTION: A cell-temperature detection thermistor 28 is provided in a battery pack 20, and a substrate-temperature detection thermistor 58 is provided in a control circuit board 30 of an electrical apparatus. When a charge condition to a battery 26 is established, a control circuit 40 sequentially reads a cell temperature TM1 and a substrate temperature TM2 detected in each of the thermistors 28 and 58, and determines whether each of the temperatures TM1 and TM2 falls within a first temperature range and a second temperature range that are chargeable to the battery 26. When each of the temperatures TM1 and TM2 falls within each temperature range, the control circuit 40 determines that the battery 26 is chargeable and permits the charge to the battery 26, but when not, the control circuit 40 prohibits the charge to the battery 26. |
