PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for image formation capable of achieving highly excellent low-temperature fixability, a high hot offset resistance property, and good storage stability at the same time, and forming high-quality images for a long period; an image forming method; and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: A toner for electrophotographic image formation includes a crystalline polyester resin (A), an amorphous resin (B), and a composite resin including a condensation polymerization resin unit and an addition polymerization resin unit (C). The toner for electrophotographic image formation further includes the following features: a molecular weight distribution has a main peak between 1000 to 10000; the half value width of the main peak is 15000 or less; chloroform insolubles are contained therein; and when the toner for electrophotographic image formation is measured by a total reflection method by using a Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy and analytical measurement apparatus after being stored in a thermostatic chamber at a temperature of 45°C for 12 hours, and when a peak height of a characteristic spectrum derived from the (A) is C, and a peak height of a characteristic spectrum derived from the (B) is R, C/R is 0.03 to 0.55. |
