PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resource allocation involved in handover.SOLUTION: A method performed by a communication device includes: transmitting uplink data to a source communication node, receiving a handover command from the source communication node in order to start inter-base station handover, interrupting transmission of the uplink data at the same time as receiving the handover command or a certain time point after reception, buffering the uplink data while transmission of the uplink data is interrupted, receiving a cell radio network temporary identifier uniquely identifying the communication device, synchronizing the communication device with a target communication node, transmitting the uplink data to the target communication node, and transmitting a buffer state report instructing the amount of the buffered uplink data and a handover completion message after synchronization with the target communication node. |
