PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect interaction between two (or two or more) devices.SOLUTION: A device which is a portable telephone or a computer includes a magnetic sensor for sensing and storing at least any one of the strength and pattern of a magnetic field generated by a device approaching the magnetic sensor, and a processing module for evaluating the strength or pattern of a magnetic field thus sensed based on the strength or pattern of a magnetic field that has already been grasped, in order to estimate at least any one of the type of the device and the orientation of the device for the portable telephone or a computer. The processing module compares at least any one of the strength and pattern of a magnetic field thus sensed with at least any one of the strength and pattern of a magnetic field that have already been stored. |
