PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a battery case which allows for selection of any one of size D battery or size AA battery by using a common battery case, and allows for common use of a battery case housing section, and thereby the die for molding a battery case can be standardized while reducing the cost.SOLUTION: The structure of a battery case 4 being housed in a battery case housing section has, in the battery case 4, a loading space 25 where any one of single or a plurality of size D batteries or size AA batteries can be loaded selectively. The loading space 25 includes connection means 14 for connecting the electrode of a size D battery to a body side electrode spring located on the outside of the battery case 4 when loading the size D battery, and connection means 16 for connecting the electrode of a size AA battery to a body side electrode spring when loading the size AA battery. The connection means 16 for a size AA battery is constituted of a pair of longitudinal terminal fitting plates 18 for connecting the size AA batteries in series, and connecting an electrode located at the end with the body side electrode spring. |
