PURPOSE: Environment-friendly high calcium ginseng and a cultivation method thereof are provided to reduce the generation of harmful insects by leaf-spraying ionized calcium to the ginseng and reforming soil. CONSTITUTION: A cultivation method of environment-friendly high calcium ginseng comprises the following steps: mixing 250g of sea shell powder to 500L of water; and leaf-spraying the obtained mixture to about 0.8 acres of ginseng farm while growing the ginseng. The leaf-spraying process is performed at least once a year during spring, before the rainy season, after the rainy season, or before the winter frost. The cultivation method for the environment-friendly high calcium ginseng additionally comprises a step of spreading 10kg of soil conditioner before transplanting ginseng seedlings to the ginseng farm. |
