PURPOSE: A channel allocation method through inter-channel collision recognition in a WiFi-based wireless network and an apparatus using the same are provided to solve exposed-node problem which decreases performance of a node during communication. CONSTITUTION: When channel interference is generated in a third node in communication by a first node which is one of two nodes in communication in a wireless network, the first node stops communication. The first node checks an idle channel (410). If there is an idle channel, the first node allocates a channel by transmitting a channel renegotiation message (CRM) to a neighboring node (420). If there is no idle channel, the first node adjusts communication range (430).
