The Hooded beach Jacket is an innovative garment designed for beach wear after swimming to provide some sun protection and a degree of modesty. The jacket extends to half way up the thigh and has a hood to cover the head, three quarter sleeves with turn back cuffs. The front has two patch pockets and the body of the garment has side splits and a pin tuck in the centre of the back to allow for a loose fit. The front of the jacket has four buttons to provide a closure. Construction is of light weight cotton fabric.

The Hooded Jacket is designed to wear over swim wear to provide some sun protection and to be loose and cool to wear. The garment length extends down to half way above the thigh for modesty. The garment has a hood which can be used to shield the wearer from the sun. The neck line is vee shaped and is designed to open up the front of the garment to allow for cooling. The placket is based on a simple "U" shaped yoke extending from the neck to the top button just above the breast line. The front has four buttons to close the front of the garment. Two large patch pockets with slightly angled top openings are sewn to the front to provide storage for personal items.
