PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for grinding an outer peripheral R-face capable of efficiently and highly precisely grinding the outer peripheral R-face of a workpiece having an R-face on a part of an outer periphery.SOLUTION: A tool for grinding an outer peripheral R-face includes a tool body 15 coaxially attached and fixed to a main spindle supporting and rotating a workpiece W and having a clamping part 21 detachably clamping and fixing the workpiece W. The clamping part 21 includes a pair of clamping pawls 32a, 32b resiliently openable and closable and fixedly supporting the workpiece W in a state where the outer peripheral R-face Wa is exposed in a sandwiching state. In the state where the workpiece W is fixed to and supported by the pair of clamping claws 32a, 32b, the finishing radius center O of the outer peripheral R-face Wa is positioned on the rotary axis X10 of the main spindle. |
