PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to aggregate security notifications from a number of different components to a centralized security server.SOLUTION: A system includes a security server 38 including a memory and a processor and configured to receive a first set of communication information pieces from a human machine interface (HMI) device 27, where the first set of communication information pieces relates to HMI device security events. The security server is also configured to receive a second set of communication information pieces from an industrial controller 12, where the second set of communication information pieces relates to industrial controller security events. The security server is further configured to package and send the received first and second sets of communication information pieces to a remote managed security service provider (MSSP) for analysis. |
