摘要 The invention relates to an extracorporeal blood treatment device in which blood in an extracorporeal blood circuit I flows through an arterial blood line (5) into the blood chamber (3) of a dialyser (1), which is separated into the blood chamber (3) and a dialysis liquid chamber (4) by a semi-permeable membrane (2), and through a venous blood line (6) out of the blood chamber (3). The invention further relates to a method for ascertaining the blood flow rate at which blood in the extracorporeal blood circuit of an extracorporeal blood treatment device is pumped through the arterial blood line into the blood chamber and through the venous blood line out of the blood chamber of the dialyser. The method according to the invention and the device according to the invention allow preferably a plurality of parameters which characterize the extracorporeal blood treatment to be ascertained, and a particular blood flow rate is ascertained dependent on one of the characteristic parameters. The invention is characterized in that a blood flow rate QB(t) which is specified for the blood treatment is selected from the plurality of the blood flow rates QBn(t) ascertained on the basis of the characteristic parameters. In the process, the blood flow rate QB(t) to be specified is selected on the basis of a specified algorithm which can be implemented in software installed on a data processing unit (22A) or in hardware.
