A disposable absorbing wearing article in which front and back waist panels, in particular, both edges of the back waist panel, are made to fit the curved surface of the hip of a wearer to improve the appearance of the article during wear and prevent excreta leakage. The article is constituted of an absorbing chassis (11) and an annular elastic waist panel (12), and the elastic waist panel (12) comprises a front waist panel (12A) and a back waist panel (12B). The back waist panel (12B) is larger in longitudinal-direction dimension than the front waist panel (12A), and comprises an elastic area (45), an waistband-forming elastic area (46), and an elastic area (47) located on the crotch-region side. The elastic area (47) has a lower elongation stress in the crosswise direction than the elastic areas (45) and (46). |
