PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the junction of a first container and a second container effectively against an arc generated between contacts.SOLUTION: The relay includes a plurality of fixed terminals each having a fixed contact, a movable contactor having a movable contact, a driving member for moving the movable contactor in a first direction approaching each fixed terminal and in a second direction receding therefrom, a first insulating container, a second container forming an airtight space for housing the movable contactor and each fixed contact together with the first container and the plurality of fixed terminals, and a junction of the first and second containers. The first container has a protection part between the junction and each fixed contact. |
