PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublingually administrable vaccine composition, which is useful as a preventive or therapeutic agent for infectious diseases, and can effectively induce a systemic immune response and a mucosal immune response.SOLUTION: A vaccine composition for administration into the oral cavity of a human or an animal includes: at least one antigen derived from an infectious disease; and at least one selected from the group consisting of a toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist, a toll-like receptor 2/6 (TLR2/6) agonist, and cyclic bis-dinucleotide, or a derivative or salt thereof. |
