PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning member sharable by a plurality of wheels having different shapes and dimensions, and also provide a rotation detector having the positioning member.SOLUTION: A positioning member 10 is provided so as to be held by a magnetism generating unit 66 and a hub 48 of a front wheel 36 for disposing the magnetism generating unit 66 coaxially with the front wheel 36. The positioning member 10 is configured so as to have a hollow shape and to be elastically deformable. The positioning member 10 includes an inner peripheral portion 10a having a through-hole 69, an outer peripheral portion 10b having an outer peripheral surface 70 provided coaxially with the through-hole 69, and an intermediate portion 10c for connecting the inner peripheral portion 10a and the outer peripheral portion 10b. In a direction parallel to the axial direction of the positioning member 10, the rigidity of the inner peripheral portion 10a is higher than that of the intermediate portion 10c. |
