PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool utilizable as a fastening means by rotating a tool body.SOLUTION: In a fastening tool in which an anvil 20 rotated by a hammer 22 is housed in a housing and rotates an output shaft 18, the anvil 20 and the output shaft 18 are formed integrally with each other, and a carrier member 33 relatively and coaxially rotatable only by a minute angle with respect to the anvil 20 is arranged. A lock mechanism is structured such that a relief surface 20a is formed at a part of an outer peripheral surface of the anvil 20, cutouts 33b are formed at opposite positions of the carrier member 33, engagement members 37 are interposed there, and thereby relative rotation between the anvil 20 and a lock ring 38 is restricted. When a tool body is manually rotated during stop of the rotation of the hammer 22, the engagement members 37 restrict the relative rotation between the anvil 20 and the lock ring 38. The lock state is immediately terminated when rotation of a motor 4 is started. |
