Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method, device, and system, which relate to the field of communications, and specifically comprise: saving second correlation information between a second correlation identifier and a target MTC-IWF; receiving a first uplink message sent by a UE and containing the second correlation identifier and uplink Machine-Type Communications (MTC) data; according to the saved second correlation information, determining the target MTC-IWF corresponding to the second correlation identifier; and sending to the target MTC-IWF a second uplink message containing the uplink MTC data, so that the target MTC-IWF sends the uplink MTC data to a target MTC server. By means of the present invention, it is guaranteed that a UE can accurately send uplink MTC data to an MTC server that initiates an MTC device trigger request, so as to ensure correctness, reliability, and safety of data communications between an MTC server and a UE.
