The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for increasing channel power, which can be used to increase the channel power of a terminal device adopting a multi-input multi-output technology. The method of the present invention comprises: a terminal device judging whether a main stream and an auxiliary stream exist in an uplink data stream to be transmitted by the terminal device; and if the main stream and the auxiliary stream exist in the data stream, the terminal device increasing the power of a control channel of the main stream and the power of a channel corresponding to an auxiliary pre-coding vector, the control channel of the main stream being corresponding to a main pre-coding vector. The present invention is suitable for increasing the channel power of the terminal device adopting the multi-input multi-output technology. |
