PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress speed variations of an intermediate transfer body depending on the presence of toner.SOLUTION: A motor drive control part 200 and an image forming control device 500 control drive motors 102, 112 in cooperation, and perform a constant speed control during image formation so that a circumferential speed difference between a photosensitive drum 101 and an intermediate transfer belt 111 is a setting circumferential speed difference D1. The circumferential speed difference is made nil when the drive motors 102, 112 are activated, and a circumferential speed difference control is performed at the setting circumferential speed difference D1 after a lapse of a prescribed time TLk after the circumferential speed difference is nil, and the circumferential speeds are constant. The prescribed time TLk is required time from when a toner image is formed on a photosensitive drum 101K to when the portion reaches a position where a primary transfer thereof is performed. |
