PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe the periphery of a subject at various angles and to illuminate the subject suitably in accordance with an observation angle, in a peripheral surface stereoscopic observation device.SOLUTION: Rotating reflection mirrors 8 of a peripheral surface stereoscopic observation device 2 are arranged in three areas of different distances from an optical axis in a radial direction and a condenser prism 23 is provided with a correction prism 24 for controlling light-emission. In the case where an optical distance between the furthest leading end lens of a lens system and a subject is L0, an optical distance between the furthest leading end lens of the lens system and an optical axis reflection mirror 7 is L1, an optical distance between the optical axis reflection mirror 7 and the rotating reflection mirror 8 is L2, and an optical distance between the rotating reflection mirror 8 and the subject is L3, the rotating reflection mirrors are arranged in the three areas so that L0=L1+L2+L3 is always obtained when the device is focused on the subject vie the optical reflection mirror 7 and the rotating reflection mirror 8. Emission of light from the condenser prism 23 is corrected by the correction prism 24 in accordance with switching among the rotation reflecting mirrors. |
