PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner-binding resin that combines low-temperature fixability and preservability of toner, and in addition in which grindability is excellent and productivity is high; an electrophotographic toner including the binding resin; and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A toner-binding resin includes an amorphous polyester having a furan ring, wherein the amorphous polyester is obtained by performing condensation polymerization of an carboxylic acid component and an alcohol component, and the alcohol component contains isosorbide, a toner-binding resin comprises the binding resin, and a method of manufacturing an electrophotographic toner includes: a melt kneading step and a crushing step of a raw material including the binding resin. |
