PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for recovering floating oil and floating sludge that can efficiently suck oil and sludge floating on the upper surface of liquid following the fluctuation of a liquid surface and attain the effect with an extremely low cost facility.SOLUTION: A method and an apparatus for recovering floating oil and floating sludge include fixing two or more floats so that an inflow port for allowing the inflow of floating oil, sludge and liquid (mixed liquid) in a tank, a flexible hose or an inflow pipe connected to the inflow port, and its inflow port are located on the liquid surface of a tank; disposing a sealed suction chamber below by at least 30 mm to obtain a head for the mixed fluid to flow in from the inflow port of the flexible hose or inflow pipe under atmospheric pressure; and providing a vent pipe or an inflow pipe for allowing the sealed suction chamber to always maintain atmospheric pressure. |
