PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that determines whether a thermoelectric conversion module can be installed, selects an optimum thermoelectric conversion module and evaluates power generation performance.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an airtight case 13 partitioned with an intervening cooling panel 7 into two compartments consisting of a thermoelectric conversion module storage compartment 17 storing a thermoelectric conversion module 5 and a cooling compartment 14 for passing a cooling medium; a probe 1 having a heating side surface and a cooling side surface of the thermoelectric conversion module in close contact with a heating side surface 11c of the airtight case 13 and the cooling panel, respectively; a thermal shielding case 10 storing the probe 1 such that the heating side surface 11c of the airtight case 13 is exposed and the section other than the heating surface 11c is covered; and an arm 23 supporting the thermal shielding case 10. The arm 23 is handled to insert the probe 1 covered in the thermal shielding case 10 into a high temperature environment where the thermoelectric conversion module is scheduled to be installed, and expose the heating side surface 11c of the airtight case 13 to a high temperature under the supply of the cooling medium to the cooling compartment of the airtight case 13, when performance of the thermoelectric conversion module is measured. |
