PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily charge a lithium-ion battery in a vacuum cleaner operating by receiving a power supply from the lithium-ion battery.SOLUTION: A body case 3 of a handy cleaner 2 is provided with a DC jack 18, and a DC power is supplied from an external AC adapter to the DC jack 18 so as to charge a lithium-ion battery in a battery pack 20 without detaching the battery pack 20 therefrom. The handy cleaner 2 includes a control circuit board 30 for controlling charge/discharge with respect to the lithium-ion battery while monitoring a voltage and a temperature of cells constituting the lithium-ion battery, and the battery pack 20 is stored inside a battery pack storage part 19 in the body case 3. Therefore, the lithium-ion battery can be electrically and mechanically protected. |
