The present invention relates to a method for an enhanced uplink transmission compatible with an existing LTE-based uplink transmission while having a low PAPR in an LTE-based mobile communication system, which can experience performance degradation from PAPR issues related to multi-carrier transmission due to the non-linearity of a power amplifier in a base station comprising a satellite, the method for an enhanced uplink transmission supporting, without a collision, both a terminal reusing an existing terrestrial LTE chipset as is and a terminal capable of receiving a low PAPR uplink, and supporting combining the terrestrial/satellite mobile communications systems more economically while minimizing changes to the existing mobile communications system.
