The centrifugal force weight (10) has a weight body (14) and a rolling element (16) rotatable relative to the weight body. A principal axis of inertia of the rolling element runs offset about a predetermined distance against the corresponding aligned principal axis of inertia of the weight body. The principal axis of inertia of the rolling element runs parallel to the rotational axis of the rotation between the weight body and the rolling element. The weight body and the rolling element are designed rotational symmetrically. The centrifugal force weight also has an axle element (24), on which the weight body or the rolling element is rotatably mounted. An independent claim is included for a torsional vibration damper for damping torsional vibrations, particularly a drive train of a motor vehicle.
