The gas-filling pipe of the side air bag is formed as gas generator with an extruded fuel core and a flexible hose, particularly from plastic. The gas-filling pipe is partially arranged in the vacuum-packed gas bag. The motor vehicle seat is formed as integral seat or a separated, particularly adjustable headrest.
