PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component that, especially, simply leads end portions of a coil out to a lower surface as a mounting surface of a core, promotes a thin design and reduces a leakage flux.SOLUTION: The coil is wound such that a winding centerline S2 is in a direction parallel to an X direction. A core 21 comprises a first core member 23 and a second core member 24 halving along a plane parallel to a Y-Z plane. The core members are joined via mating surfaces with the coil stored in storage regions of the core members. A lower surface of the core is a mounting surface. The mounting surface has therein a lower end joint part 27a along a Y direction, and has a plurality of holes 50, 51 in positions spaced from a center O of the lower end joint part along the Y direction. End portions 22b of the coil are led out from the respective holes, and the mounting surface has therein terminal parts 60, 61 electrically connected with the respective end portions. |
