PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing device which offers a reduced level of noise during wobbling operation.SOLUTION: A lens device is attachable to a camera device having an image sensor and includes; an imaging optical system which includes a focusing lens; drive means for driving a movable lens unit; and control means which moves the movable lens unit back and forth along the optical axis by alternately generating a first drive command for driving the movable lens unit at a first drive speed and a halt command to the drive means, and moves the focusing lens based on contrast information obtained by the image sensor while moving the movable lens unit back and forth along the optical axis. The control means generates a second drive command, for driving the movable lens unit at a second drive speed which is slower than the first drive speed, to the drive means at least either before or after generating the first drive command to the drive means. |
