The attenuator (2) has damper unit (8) with recess (10), provided in plate-like holding structure (6). A fixing unit (4) is provided engaging behind partially along mounting direction and is insertable in support structure. The recess has locking portion (14) extending relative to guide and/or holding portion. A locking unit (16) of fixing device is provided cooperating with release unit (20) of fixing device in a state movable transversely or obliquely to mounting direction, so that locking unit is moved out of engagement with latching portion and opening (18) of support structure.
