An index table assembly of a machine tool is provided to make sufficient air pressure act on a locking pin assembly, and to make an index table assembly operate smoothly by detaining a piston member not to rotate on a main body. An index table assembly of a machine tool comprises a main body(30) provided with a first pneumatic passage(31) on the lower part and a first housing at the end of the first pneumatic passage, a piston member(40) provided with a second housing on the opposite side to the first housing and a second pneumatic passage(42) connected with the second housing, a center shaft(50) mounted to the upper center of the piston member to be rotatable and provided with a third pneumatic passage(53) connected with the second pneumatic passage, a piston shaft(60) mounted to the center of the center shaft to be vertically reciprocable and provided with a plate(65) on which a flat is placed, a pallet base(70) provided with a fourth pneumatic passage(71) connected with the third pneumatic passage and placed with a locking pin assembly(90) connected with the fourth pneumatic passage to exhaust air pressure, and a fin member provided with seventh, eighth pneumatic passages to connect with the first pneumatic passage and the second pneumatic passage. |
