PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently producing inexpensive elastic sheets using a rubber string.SOLUTION: A method for continuously producing an elastic sheet 19W having a rubber string 19cW joined in a stretched state integrally between a pair of belt-like sheets 19aW and 19bW in a direction to intersect the conveying direction of the pair of belt-like sheets includes: a step of continuously delivering the rubber string and introducing the delivered rubber string to a swivel head 31; a step of continuously winding the rubber string using the swivel head around a pair of rubber-string feeding devices 32A-32D separated in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction of the pair of belt-like sheets, and transferring the rubber string by the pair of rubber-string feeding devices; a step of integrally joining the transferred rubber string between the pair of belt-like sheets; and a step of cutting portions of the rubber string projecting respectively from both ends of the pair of belt-like sheets in the width direction.
