PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator for a stator which inhibits the deformation resulting from molding shrinkage.SOLUTION: An upper component member 11 included in a resin insulator includes an upper peripheral wall portion 12 forming a peripheral wall having a rectangular cylinder shape in which a stator core passes. The upper peripheral wall portion 12 is composed of: an upper center wall; an upper coupling short wall 16 coupled to the upper center wall; and an upper coupling long wall 17 coupled to the upper center wall. An upper yoke flange 13 is provided at the yoke part side of a stator core in the upper peripheral wall portion 12 and an upper teeth flange 14 is provided at the teeth part side. A step part composed of a flange recessed part and a flange protruding part is formed on inner surfaces of the upper yoke flange 13 and the upper teeth flange 14. |
