PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capable of preventing a separator from being damaged in joining a sealing body by laser welding.SOLUTION: In a lithium ion secondary battery 100, a wound electrode body 50 is housed inside a battery case 40, and an opening of the battery case 40 is sealed by joining a lid body 60 to the opening of the battery case 40 by laser welding. The wound electrode body 50 is formed by laminating a separator 30, a negative electrode 20 including a negative electrode core material 21 coated with a negative electrode mixture 22, and a positive electrode 10 including a positive electrode core material 11 coated with a positive electrode mixture 12, and a non-coated portion S where the negative electrode mixture 22 is not coated is formed at the outside of a lid body 60 side in the negative electrode 20 at the outermost periphery of the wound electrode body 50. |
