PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that allows a user to easily perform touch operation and to instantly recognize the design when the user views the device.SOLUTION: A touch panel input operation device includes: a touch panel member 110 formed by arranging plural non-transmissive electrode parts P1 and P2 in an X axial direction and a Y axial direction, i.e., horizontally and vertically to form a matrix, the electrode parts being capacitive for detecting a position where an object to be detected comes into contact with an operation surface; a light guide member provided at the back of the touch panel member 110; and a light source for guiding light to the light guide member. A transmissive design part that is to be an operation index is provided on the front surface side of the operation surface. Electrode parts Pc are arranged at positions overlapping with the design part and at the back of the design part, and have removed portions c formed by cutting out partial areas of the electrode parts P1 and P2 without disconnecting the connection between the electrode parts P1 and P2 in the X axial direction and Y axial direction. |
